The Diggler was developed in Marin County, CA. in 1996. Diggler owner and inventor, Rob Fruechtenicht, took his childhood dream and patented his innovative creation…The Diggler Mountain Scooter. The Diggler captures the essence of several exciting sports; mountain biking, snowboarding, surfing, BMX, and skiing, and combines them all into a whole new way to ride.

Over the years, Rob has continually expanded and enhanced the entire Diggler line of scooters. In addition to the “The Original Mountain Scooter”, Diggler now offers models with disk brakes (for faster stopping) and full suspension (for a smoother ride).

In response to an overwhelming demand, Rob also developed a model specifically designed for kids ages 3-7. The “Dirt Doggy” has received many awards and accolades from parents & toy suppliers alike.

In 2007, Rob introduced the “Electric Diggler” which combines the agility of the scooter with the economy of a small, electric engine making the “Electric Diggler” a great way to “spare the air” and have fun, too!
